Old Presque Isle, Op. 5

This composition tells the folk story behind the Old Presque Isle Lighthouse north of Alpena, Michigan. It is a love story of George and Lorraine Parris and how George’s ghost might still be operating the lighthouse. This composition was written for the Hudsonville Middle School Band Program directed by Zachary Jacobs and Loren Koella.
